I love the atmosphere of the cafe. It gives off a Japanese tavern. The food was delicious! I had the guacamole toast. It was just as good as the one I had in Czech Republic! The owner was super nice and the staff as well. I am definitely coming back for breakfast! Highly recommend.

Vegetarian and vegan food available, which is quite rare in Japan! We had the hummus toast, tofu sub and mushroom & hummus sub sandwiches and they were amazing. We also had the sweet potato and date & ginger muffins which were delicious. And if you are into coffee you should try their espresso, simply delightful! The staff is very nice and helpful, we felt very welcome!

This cafe is wonderful, and the owner is amazing. All the dishes are the owner's own recipes, and everything is made right in the shop with local ingredients. It's also one of the only places I've found that makes a turmeric latte! Very accommodating, a must-visit in Kyoto
